Samsung Smart Dock

Just got it.

Had to dl a free app to rotate the screen but not really needed if the app/movie/game runs in landscape. I'll use this for running Plex while on vacation or going somewhere that has a HDMI connection. I've heard that you can add wireless dongles for KB/M and the connect without a problem. Need to root Note 2 to use my PS3 controller but if I had a wired Xbox controller I'm sure it would work.

Definitely a luxury item that I don't need as I have a computer connected to every monitor or TV in the house but it sure is cool. Amazon had it for ~25%. Was originally 99.99.

Does the phone screen stay on if you're playing a movie through it?

What happens if you press the power button while docked? Does the TV video cut out?

Yes the video signal is cut when the power button is pressed. It's would be best to charge while projecting to the TV. It came with the normal Samsung wall adapter and micro USB cable.

Also connecting your PS3 controller to one of the USB ports works without rooting. The controls in GTA3 are different but you get used to them quick. Will test more games.

Found a solution. I need to test it to see if it works.
