I like how custom you can make you screens and the UI seems to be easy to use too.

No too expensive. But it looks really cool. I might have I root my phone and play with a rom or too. Any rom suggestions for the Note 2?

It's tricky with the Note 2 because the SOC isn't documented enough to have anything real fancy as far as something compiled from source. So, most of the functional ROMs are hacked up Samsung ROMs.

There is MIUI port for the most drastic interface change: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2071480" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I just ran with CleanROM as a base and did a bunch of personal modifications within the confines of rooting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2075795" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You can also switch to an International-based ROM that's a little more updated from Samsung and doesn't have carrier stuff: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1986893" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I made a guide about per-app DPI/interface mods that should work on any rooted ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2068769" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
